Frankivsk Half Marathon’16 – the half marathon held in Ivano-Frankivsk on 25 September 2016 within the Hot Sport program by the Teple Misto Platform.
Nearly 100 open training sessions were held within preparation for the half marathon. Runners could opt for distances of 5, 10, and 21 km. There was also a team relay race (4 × 5 km) and children’s races for distances of 100, 300, 500 and 1000 m. Over 600 people took part in the sports event. The participants came from different places: Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Lutsk, Chernivtsi, Uzhgorod, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine. There were also guests from Poland, Moldova and the USA.
The best result of the main half marathon distance – 21.097 km – showed Ruslan Savchuk – 1:08:44. The first female crossing the finishing line was Svitlana Stanko, her result is 1:21:33.
