Financial Literacy. How to Start Investing

In Ukraine, financial literacy is not a compulsory school subject yet, and many people are simply unable to properly manage their money in adult life.

Not only personal well-being of every citizen but also the economic success of a country depends on the financial literacy of the population. But first and foremost, financial literacy is a must for every person to use money efficiently and quickly reach new levels of financial well-being.

On April 10th, Promprylad. Renovation hosted the lecture “Financial Literacy. How to Start Investing” in Ivano-Frankivsk for people interested in investing opportunities, business owners and entrepreneurs. The speaker was Andrii Zhovtanetskyi, a lecturer of the finance courses of the Master’s programmes of the UCU Lviv Business School (LvBS), practising investor, analyst.

At the event Andrii spoke about:

– How to learn to make savings, use and invest them effectively
– Basic rules and principles of investment
– Foundations of the investment market analysis
– Cash flows and asset classes for investment.

At the end, the speaker and his audience agreed that the most promising investment decision is to invest in Ukrainian long-term creative projects. Promprylad.Renovation Innovation Centre is one of them. This is a project of the impact investment area where investors invest in social impact in the region and at the same time receive their dividends. Learn more about Promprylad.
