Five projects became winners within the second wave of the City Grants Program. One of them is the “Organisation of a sports and recreation area in Pasichna district (on the territory of sport ground of NFK “Urahan”)” project. The subject matter of the project is urban space and hot sports.
The project team had set themselves a task to arrange in Pasichna district a sport and recreational area for common use near the sport ground of NFK “Urahan” to make sport for residents of the city (especially for teen age group) more available and interesting.
With the help of the City Grants Program, this project became a part of a combined idea completed by other game and sport elements including a unique design of 82 metres of bench and outdoor fitness.
Information: The City Grants Program was created in September 2015 to boost and support the initiatives, NGOs, and communities aimed at implementation of practical projects raising quality of life in the city, and involving the local community in the development of Ivano-Frankivsk.
