Five projects became winners within the second wave of the City Grants Program. One of them is the “Culture Festival 2016” project. The subject matter of this project was contemporary art.
On 6-7th of August, “Culture Festival 2016” was held in Ivano-Frankivsk on the initiative of AIESEC international youth-run non-governmental organization. This is a cultural festival which provides Ukrainian youth a way to get acquainted, communicate, and share experience with representatives of other countries.
The press-conference took place within the promotion activities where festival organizators shared their plans and expectations from the project.
30 members from China, Mexico, Brazil, Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey, Morocco and other countries demonstrated their cultural traditions by means of ethnic foods, customs, and national costumes.
Over two days, the festival was visited by more that 300 people.
Information: The City Grants Program was created in September 2015 to boost and support the initiatives, NGOs, and communities aimed at implementation of practical projects raising quality of life in the city, and involving the local community in the development of Ivano-Frankivsk.
