Urban Space 100 is a social enterprise in the format of a restaurant.
The main idea of the project is to create a restaurant in Ivano-Frankivsk, which will be a successful example of combining socially active people around the idea of city development.
Project objectives:
– creating a transparent specialized fund to finance social start-ups and projects aimed at the city development;
– creating a physical platform to revitalize the city’s proactive cluster, which promotes various initiatives and maintains the dynamics of their development;
– uniting a hundred of practical people willing to invest in the project and distribute funds for other initiatives.
80% of the profit is spent exclusively on implementation of social projects for Ivano-Frankivsk. 100 progressive people founded the restaurant. The founders decide which project to support.
The restaurant was opened on December 27, 2014.
Since opening Urban Space 100 has already financed 156 projects.
After the eight-year period of work, Urban Space 100 team gained experience in the project implementation and management and is ready to share their knowledge. Teple Misto Platform is currently working on the program expansion to allow for opening restaurants of Urban Space social franchise chain in other cities. The first of them was Urban Space 500 in Kyiv. On March 15, 2017 fundraising campaign for public restaurant Urban Space 500 in Kiev began. On December 18, 2018 the restaurant was opened.
